I love finding new ways to turn daily tasks into learning expereiences with my girls. Monday, my girls and their besties had a blast kicking off Spring Break week..
We went to Rosa's for sopapilla's and a quick lesson about honey and honeybees.
We headed over to Target for a shopping lesson. I asked each girl to pick one item from the dollar section. I let one child pay with a $1 dollar bill, one with 4 quarters, one with 10 dimes and one with 20 nickels. It was a fun lesson in counting and learning how different denominations of cash can equal the same amount. Here are some more fun ways to teach about money.
We then headed home to create letters with our $1 secion playdoh! More ways to learn with playdoh!
Yesterday we went to get the oil changed. Luckily, our car was in the bay closest to the window. They loved seeing underneath the car! FUN
Have a FABULOUS Spring Break!!
Hugs
Tara
