Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez broke up. People magazine said it actually happened a week ago. There have been a few hints that things weren't going well, Justin tweeted a pic of himself last week with the word "lingse" which fans quickly pointed out could be unscrambled to spell single. And he was spotted in sevral places with a brunette model named Barbara Palvin. She later tweeted " hey everyone. please calm down. he is all yours" She tweeted last week," Relationships are team work, not one against the other."They are both keeping themselves busy as they deal with the breakup. Selena is shooting a reunion special for Wizards of Waverly Place and Justin is performing at several events.
Remember Ashley and JP that got engaged a couple of Bachelorette episodes ago? They have finally set a wedding date and its going to be on tv. Its slated to air Dec. 16 on ABC with Chris Harrison in charge of officiating. A handful of "Bachelor," "Bachelorette" and "Bachelor Pad" stars will attend including Trista and Ryan Sutter and Jason and Molly Mesnick. THIS would be THE perfect time for Emily and Chris Harrison to debut that relationship Jagger thinks they are having dont ya think???
The latest James Bond film is also the biggest. "Skyfall," which marks 50 years of James Bond onscreen over the course of 23 films, grossed $30.8 million on Friday night the largest debut day in the history of the franchise. They movie earned $90 million over its opening weekend. Wreck It Ralph came in second, my girls saw it again and loved it both times.
I love hearing about celebrity auctions and how much their stuff sells for....this weekend Judy Garland's blue pinafore she wore in "The Wizard of Oz" has sold for $480,000. It was the biggest earner at the memorbilia sale in California over the weekend. Julie Andrews' "Sound of Music dress" went for $38,400. The most unusual piece sold were literally pieces of of royal wedding cakes from Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding. They went for $7,500 a slice while Prince Charles and Princess Diana's cake sold for $1,375. (how did they preserve that stuff??) @ @

My neighbor threw a FABULOUS Hollywood Party for her daughters 16th birthday this weekend. I HAD to share the pics with y'all. LOOK at that entry! The guests arrived after dark and they bad strobe lights on the Hollywood sign. A "reporter" was on the red carpet interviewing guests and a "paparazzi" photog was there taking pics. She cleared out her formal living room for the dance floor and a deejay. The cupcake display was BEAUTIFUL and I love that they made her star from the Walk of Fame. They thought of EVERYTHING even the VIP seating in the bathroom. ;) They had a podium on the stairs where guests gave acceptance speeches when they won prizes and of course all the guests dressed red carpet fancy. There are SO many ways to adapt this party for your little one. Next week Im going to a Rockstar themed party. I'll post pics. :)
My little ones and I are headed to a food pantry this afternoon to donate food for Thanksgiving. I would LOVE to hear how you teach your children about gratitude and giving back. Hugs Tara
