In a recent interview, the bluesy crooner dished about his relationship to the Teenage Dream singer, expressing:

But then John let slip something VERY telling when asked if he ever wants to get MARRIED!!

Mayer responded to the loaded question:

"Of course. I mean, I'm still the kid from Connecticut. That's what you do."
