Last night I went to the brand new LOOK Cinemas to watch Admission, starring Tina Fey and Paul Rudd. The movie itself was ok - it was pretty funny until it got kind of deep at the end. But I'm not a movie critic, so I'll let you be the judge of that. The real star of the night was the experience I got at the LOOK Cinema.
First off they have valet service, which already gives you a 5-star experience before even walking into the theater. Secondly, they theater itself is one of the nicest theaters I've been to- the chairs were luxurious and the food/drink menu is top notch. This isn't your average theater.
Along with my movie, I opted for a table side service with gourmet food from Nick & Sam's Grill called LOOK & Dine. I had pulled pork sliders which were fantastic and definitely leagues ahead of the typical popcorn and Sour Patch Kids you normally get. I also ordered a gin & tonic, or two, which was artfully crafted - no B.S. here, people.
In all, I think the brand new LOOK Cinema is changing the movie theater game in a whole new way. The upscale vibe and 5-star atmosphere is definitely a nice change from the normal and drab theaters you're used to. I'd definitely recommend everyone to check this place out. After going to LOOK Cinemas, you'll never want to watch a movie in a 'normal' theater again. You can get a better ideal of what I mean by going to their website, or just go and find out for yourself.
