I try to avoid IKEA as much as possible. Sure, the deals are great, but my ego always takes a hit when later I'm surrounded by pegs and screws and fake flat "wrenches" with only stick figure drawings to show me how to put together my new JYDFNDBPE or whatever it's called.
HOWEVER, I sure would have loved to be at the IKEA store that had the monkey though. If I am ever at an IKEA (or ANYWHERE) and there is a monkey wandering around by itself, I'm going to take it. As soon as I see it, I will literally pick it up, walk out of the store and straight to my car and that monkey will be my new monkey and I'll get it a nicer coat (because really, off-brand UGGS? Ew.), better clothes and shoes and an iPad so it will never be bored and will love me forever.
I also won't leave it in the car ever because you know what? As IKEA monkey's owner is finding out right now, that is how you lose your monkey.
