This film will leave you shaken AND stirred. I am pretty big Bond fan and I loved Skyfall. It was a great throw back to the older, lower-tech style Bond films which relied on good story-telling and more realistic spy/fighting methods. His car doesn’t have lasers or missiles, so if that's what you want, TOUGH. There are some plot holes and some scenes that where stretched a little too much, but only if you over think it. All in all, I give it two thumbs way up. P.S. I took the wife (who has not seen all the Bond movies, especially the more recent ones) and she enjoyed it too. She hates movies with overly extensive fight sequences and said this one was exciting, but not as explosive and violent as some of the other movies I've dragged her to see so there was no complaining!
