I recently challenged Ron Corning of WFAA’s Daybreak to a painting competition at the Painting with a Twist Frisco location. Under careful (and patient) instruction, we attempted to recreate the same painting. You can be the judge of whose painting was best. Although, Ron said he hadn’t touched a paintbrush since he was in the third grade, so I’m pretty confident that my 9^th grade art class prepared me well.

You can find our “masterpieces“ up for auction this weekend, Oct. 27-29, at the Huffhines Art Trails Arts & Craft Show. All proceeds will benefit the United Way NETWORK.
