Tomorrow is the big day!! I am happy for our beloved Big Tex to get a new outfit (HA) and I know that everyone is looking forward to seeing him but, I have been counting down the days until the fryers heat up!! I had so much fun attending the 2013 Big Tex Choice Awards this year because the competition has been definitely been kicked up a notch from last year's food fight. Justin Martinez is the humble, gracious winner of the Big Tex Choice Award this year for his on-point flavor profile of the Deep Fried Thanksgiving Dinner. I look forward to you trying it because it truly captures the flavor of a Thanksgiving dinner. You can taste the stuffing immediately and what makes it even better is the side of giblet gravy! I tried all of the foods last year and I plan on doing it again this year, so if you need me, you will find me skipping around the Big Tex circle eating a corny dog!!
