So many choices of fine dining restaurants that all have one thing in common, a heart for charity. The concept of Restaurant Week is that upscale dining establishments offer prix fixe dinners for $35 or $45, not including wine pairings. Twenty percent of proceeds goes to the North Texas Food Bank or Lena Pope Home. I look forward to this food filled week each year as way to visit new restaurants and the chance to give back to charities that are near and dear to my heart.
We officially kicked off our foodie tour of Dallas last night at Ocean Prime in Uptown and I am still full from dinner but that hasn't stopped me from making my reservations for tonight! I have a list of favorite "must haves" to visit this year and because I love me some Chef Kent Rathbun, he made the top of my list. Rathbun's Blue Plate Kitchen, Nobu, Tillman's Roadhouse and The Grotto are just a few of the hot spots to be!
